About the Winter Garden Theatre
One of Canada’s finest stages, built in 1913, this 900-seat theatre is named for the trompe l'oeil paintings of vines and pastoral, and the fabulous simulated fire-proof garden that hangs from the roof. The theatre has played host to such greats as George Burns and Gracie Allen, Sophie Tucker, Edgar Bergen and Charlie McCarthy and Milton Berle.
